iPhone: new game, t-shirt, wallpaper, killer app

In brief: The iPhone's Web browser may well be its key to being revolutionary, the popular logic game Aha! comes to the iPhone as does task management tool Copper, FastMac will give out "iGot iPhone" shirts on launch day and Iconfactory's icons are now iPhone-compatible.... nobosh opines that the full-fledged Web browser included with the iPhone will allow the device to establish its legacy by breaking down the barriers between software developers and development platforms which will result in better, more creative, and faster to market applications for consumers. "Historically, mobile phone software has been difficult for developers to write. [...] With the iPhone, the only requirement for the developer is a knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and a back-end language like Java, PHP, or Ruby on Rails. There are far more developers out there who know these languages of the Web than who know the languages of mobile phones."

Aha! a new iPhone game

CS Odessa has announced the forthcoming release of an iPhone edition of their popular logical game Aha!. The description reads "Each time you change theme, the game changes to a completely new one, as if by magic. As the new themes are developed, you can pick them here and add to the game."

Task management app for iPhone

Copper, project management software deliverable through the Web, is now iPhone-ready. The tool, used in-house by Apple, allows users to create project timelines, set access for participants and then review progress. Element Software's CEO Ben Prendergast, has announced in his company's latest newsletter that Copper Project is already compatible with the iPhone. "So if you are looking for that elusive handheld project manager, Copper may be it for you,"

"iGot iPhone" shirt to be given away outside Apple & AT&T Stores

Fastmac will be giving away t-shirts with the slogan "iGot iPhone" to commemorate Apple's iPhone Launch Event on June 29th, 2007. The T-shirts will be given away for free outside select Apple & AT&T stores between 2 PM and 6 PM on the day of the Apple iPhone launch. While supplies last, the T-shirt is also available to order from Fastmac's website at. The front of the T-shirt simply states: 'iGot iPhone.' The back of the T-shirt reflects the launch date ('6.29.07') and the simple fact: 'iWas There.'

Iconfactory icons for the iPhone

The Iconfactory has announced that its entire library of desktop pictures has been resized, cropped and formatted especially for use on the iPhone
