Cocktail 3.8, a new version of the maintenance and troubleshooting tool, features a completely refreshed interface and several other improvements. Among them are a "Disable Sudden Motion Sensor" feature, ability to enable/disable Spotlight indexing of selected disks, significantly improved cache clearing capabilities, network optimization routines, and ability to prevent DS Store file creation on network volumes. The new release is a Universal Binary and runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It requires Mac OS X or Mac OS X Server 10.4 - 10.4.9, and is priced at $15.
