XpertMart unlimited

XpertMart has announced unlimited single store license for its popular Point of Sale system for Mac OS X. Priced at $2500, the new license allows retailers to network together an unlimited number of workstations and is designed for large-scale retail environments where multiple users need to be accessing the same database concurrently. XpertMart's Universal Binary Mac POS system runs on the Firebird database manager, a robust relational SQL database backed by the open source Firebird Foundation. "If you need to have more than three people working together at the same time then the Unlimited Single Store license was created for you," says XpertMart CEO Stephen Searfoss. Firebird is currently used by the US Navy, UK Rail, the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange Bank and thousands of other organizations.
