Final Print 1.5 released

Digital Heaven today released Final Print 1.5, an update to its companion application for Final Cut Pro that enables users to print the contents of a bin and markers on source clips. Final Print is a standalone application that prints a list of clips in a bin or markers contained in a clip or sequence, providing workflow enhancement when handing off a project to someone else for further work. Final Print opens XML files exported from Final Cut Pro and displays up to 10 columns of information, allowing users to print or save the list in PDF format. Final Print 1.5 is priced at $100, and requires Final Cut Pro 4.1 or later to export XML files.

Digital Heaven today also released VideoSpace 2.0, the latest revision of its free widget for Mac OS X that calculates the disk space required for video files. Designed as a companion for Apple's Final Cut Pro and Express software, the widget offers a wide choice of codecs from DV up to 10-bit uncompressed HD with options for frame rate as well as audio settings.

VideoSpace 2.0 adds support for Apple ProRes 422 and DVCPROHD 720p50 codecs, as well as automatic selection of the frame rate for NTSC and PAL codecs.
