Sharp Papyrus TC920

Sharp on Tuesday upgraded its all-in-one e-dictionaries with the Papyrus TC920, a significant upgrade to its flagship. The update to the earlier TC900 improves reception for digital TV over 1Seg broadcast networks and includes a freshly updated, high sensitivity pair of earbuds for listening to audio translations (including English) and MP3 playback for songs stored on SD cards.

The TC920 also continues to represent Sharp's most advanced language interpreter with a unique touchpad that recognizes handwriting for non-Greek alphabets such as Mandarin, 40 separate dictionaries, and voice feedback as well as on-screen text and tutorials.

Sales of the new 4.3-inch widescreen Papyrus begin on June 29th in Japan, with black and red models selling for an open price on the Japanese market. [via Akihabara]
