Panasonic launches mirror-finish, 3.2MP camera phone

Panasonic P904i

Panasonic this morning rolled out the P904i, a new clamshell phone designed to be as personal as possible. Its body includes a partial mirror on the outer lid but also includes a distinctly replaceable top shell: snap-on packs not only change the outer skin but also the style of the external display and LEDs on the back. Also separating the handset from most fashion phones is a strong 3.2-megapixel camera and a large, 2.8-inch internal LCD with a 400x240 resolution. Music is supported in WMA form in addition to MP3s, and is packed into either 65MB of built-in memory or a microSD card -- though talk time is limited to about 160 minutes, Panasonic notes.

Part of NTT DoCoMo's summer 2007 phone line, the P904i is set to launch on the carrier's Japanese network with FOMA Internet support on June 15th. A release outside of the country is currently unlikely. [via Impress]
