802.11n AirPort firmware
Apple on Friday released an update to its firmware for its 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station. Version 7.1, the company said, includes all fixes in Firmware 7.1 (released at the end of March) plus additional compatibility updates for the AirPort Extreme Base Station with 802.11n. Apple did not provide any details on the changes in the new release, but the previous firmware 7.1 provided improved Mac and Windows support for printers and Routers, VPN, PPPoE, WDS(ACL), WEP(TSN) and localized file naming, port mapping, IPv6, and NAS. It also offer improved stability with keychain passwords, improved support for third party applications saving files to a USB disk, and improved support for AirPort USB disk stability and power saving, disk read/write performance, disk file sharing and passwords. The update requires AirPort Utility 5.1.

I updated right when it came out. I haven't experienced any problems with the update. I did notice previously (before the update) that very sporadically my basestation signal would completely disappear and require me to manually restart. So far after the update - it hasn't occurred ... yet. :)

I'm not very optimistic about this BS firmware.
