Refurbished MacBooks return for $849

Reconditioned MacBooks have returned to Apple's online store for as little as $849, and refurbished MacBook Pros are also available from $1,999. The company's discounted MacBooks currently include the White 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 512MB of memory, a 60GB hard drive, and a Combo drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW) for $849; and the White 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 1GB of memory, an 80GB hard drive, and a SuperDrive (DVD±RW/CD-RW) for $999. Apple's refurbished MacBook Pros consist of the standard or glossy 15-inch 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB of memory and a 120GB hard drive for $1,999; as well as the standard or glossy 17-inch 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB of memory and a 160GB hard drive for $2,299.
