YouTube coming to Apple TV in June

Apple today announced that it will allow Apple TV users to wirelessly stream video content from Google's YouTube service to their televisions starting in June. The Cupertino-based company said YouTube will be available as a free software update in mid-June, while Apple boss Steve Jobs revealed that the full YouTube catalog will be available on Apple TV in the fall, according to MarketWatch. The company began shipping the Apple TV in March, with industry analysts projecting various results as the device develops and consumers learn more about what the Apple TV actually does. Apple also announced that it is offering a new 160GB Apple TV build-to-order option.

This is the thing of Keynotes ... I wonder what Steve is clearing the decks for?!!? New MacBook Pros and some scene stealing new Leopard functions!!!!!!!!

A 9" MacBookMini would be a great "one more thing."

I don't have an Apple TV yet but the ability to stream YouTube is a good deal. Especially when I can show friends, family, etc a cool video or skit I found on YouTube.

Agreed, Hopefully they won't have to be viewed in Full Screen - they might be tolerable in a part-screen resolution...

I swear...you people. First you b!tch about not having the crappy YouTube videos on AppleTV, then when it's added [why I have no idea] you bitch because YouTube videos look crappy--as if that were news.

I wonder if the videos will be accessible from front row similar to how movie trailers are accessed.

I bypassed AppleTV and just hooked up a mini.
