Skype for Mac 2.6
Skype today released Skype for Mac 2.6, the latest release of its communications software for Mac that offers a new feature currently unavailable to Windows users. SKype has introduced a new call-transfer feature exclusive to the Mac platform, enabling users to transfer an ongoing call to another Skype user on a contact list. Skype is available for free, requiring Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
The update improves quality as well as stability, enables Mac users to join public chats, and offers a chat typing indicator to see when others are writing a message. Skype Prime allows Mac users to call a premium-service provider and pay for advice or knowledge with Skype credit, and automatic updates get new features without the need to visit Skype's website.
The latest release also includes DTMF tones for automatic answering services which are available during Skype-to-Skype calls.

it's the NETWORK, stupid
If Skype wants me as a user, they ought to concentrate less on nifty new features, and more on making their network powerful and robust enough to actually handle the traffic. Frikkin' dropped or totally mangled calls are about as helpful as a disk failure.
