Studio Suite 8 released

AlterMedia has begun shipping Studio Suite 8, the latest revision of its management software aimed at companies in the creative industry. Recording studios, game developers, and rental outlets can handle everything from schedules to libraries and invoices with Studio Suite 8, according to AlterMedia, and the software integrates with several other applications such as iCal, Final Cut, and Pro Tools. The eighth edition makes over two dozen improvements, including the ability to attach any external file to a project to keep track of all involved resources. Users can also check a dashboard overview of daily tasks, and monitor the real-world status of a budget as it relates to actual payments and expenses. The interface also boasts a cleaner, more refined appearance. A single Studio Suite license is priced at $750, with additional workstations available for $450 per seat. [corrected]
