Apple TV download service

Motionbox today launched a new service offering high definition video downloads designed for the newly released Apple TV. The company plans to allow subscribers to download personal videos to Apple TV, iTunes, and video iPods while supporting all video formats -- including HD -- as part of a set of premium services that will launch later this quarter.

Macback

One avid Apple fan has managed to construct what he calls a "Macback," or a personal carrying tote from the remains of an old broken Macintosh. "Finally after nearly a year of working, I have finished my masterpiece; I have racked up more geek points by creating a backpack from an old Macintosh SE computer c. 1988," said the user who calls himself Imanalchemist.

Ricoh launches two new printers

Ricoh Americas has introduced its Aficio SP 4100N and SP 4110N printers designed to provide fast and convenient desktop black and white printing. The laser printers offer printing speeds of 31 and 36 pages per minute (ppm) respectively, with a warm-up time of less than 19 seconds and a first print speed of 6.9 seconds. Additionally, the Aficio SP 4100N/SP 4110N offer graphics, text, and drawings with resolutions up to 1200 x 600 dpi.
