McDwiff brings DWF to Macs

Austin Silver Software is now shipping a technology preview of McDwiff which can open, view, save and print DWF files generated by Autodesk software. McDwiff connects to Autodesks online DWF translator for 100 percent accuracy and opens any DWF file (2D or 3D) on the Mac; users can zoom and pan through documents, but the company notes that rotation is not yet supported within 3D files. Additionally DWF's can be exported to TIF, GIF, JPG, PNG, BMP, or PDF formats. McDwiff is free for non-commercial use and licenses for commercial users are priced at $40
