Apple plans German store
Apple has signed a deal with a Munich-based realtor for the future site of its first retail store in Germany, according to one report. The Cupertino-based company is hoping to turn a five-story building in Marienplatz into a four-story flagship retail store, as an architect's rendering appears to reveal renovations to the former home of Sport Schuster with a suspended Apple logo above the main entrance. AppleInsider reports that the location at 1 Rosenstrasse will feature an all-glass facade, and will open some time in the second half of next year as one of five new Apple stores planned for Germany -- with other locations expected in Berlin and Frankfurt.
