I never give much credit to someone who mentions they're an IT manager, sys admin, or MCSE cert anymore. It means absolutely nothing to me these days. Something is amiss in the IT world. I see a lot of grunt work, but very little real knowledge (not rote memorization) or ambition in the broader sense. There are a lot of red flags in his (macbaby) posts that make me wonder how much of an intuitive and independent thinker he really is. After making this observation, it isn't much of a stretch to know he will face a few dilemmas here and there.
I hope he gets what he wants out of his new Mac, but I wanted to at least share my first impression to see if I was the only one picking up on it.
