50K videos via iTunes
Jive Records' Justin Timberlake, the first major recording artist to debut a new video solely on the iTunes Store, continues to shatter records and set new standards, according to a company press release: the pop artist premiered his video "What Goes Around ... Comes Around" on Friday, February 9th and sold over 50,000 videos during the first four days on iTunes. The company said that sales still continue at a record breaking pace, although did not provide details. The full length Directors Cut video, which features Scarlett Johannson and Shawn Hatosy, was directed by Sam Bayer, who has worked with Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie, Aerosmith and on Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams."

Why??

I like Timberlake OK, think he's funny at least, but his antics, the behavior on videos, the Superbowl, SNL, etc. and the fact that he is so popular, contribute to the American image abroad (along with all the rest America has to offer).
Imagine how appalling this behavior would have been in victorian America and Europe, or even just 50-60 years ago. Now imagine how it is seen in the very conservative middle eastern cultures. Is this maybe part of the reason they hate us??

50,000 people paid 2 bucks each in the first 4 days to see a Timberlake VIDEO?
This is a far sicker society than the social scientists are telling us!
