Komodo Edit 4.0 released
ActiveState today released Komodo Edit 4.0, enhancing the feature-rich editor for the full range of Komodo-supported dynamic languages. Komodo Edit 4.0 supports Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, and Tcl as on Mac OS X, Linux, and Microsoft Windows systems. The software also offers support for client-side languages and Ajax technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and XML. Komodo Edit 4.0 allows users to extend its architecture, adding advanced capabilities through Firefox-style .xpi extensions. The ActiveState community site hosts user forums and FAQs as well as resources for creating and sharing extensions. Komodo Edit 4.0 is available for free, and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
