SilverStack released

Pomfort has released SilverStack, a unique software tool for inspecting, managing, and previewing high-resolution image sequences. An included Pomfort "Cinemator" render queue enables users to create batches of customized QuickTime movies for use in production workflows. Users can browse sequence-based and timecode-oriented files with an info-timeline that shows SMPTE timecode, frame numbers, or a timecode calculated from file names. The software can open movie-typical file types such as DPX, Cineon, and TIF documents in nearly any resolution (PAL, HD, 2k, 4k, and 6k). Users can view color-channels, inspect color with a selective RGB histogram, inspect pixels with a dynamic range color picker, and use a genuine pixel ruler for complete access to image data. SilverStack offers movie export, accommodates accurate image viewing, and features sequence management. The application is priced at $400 for the full edition or $190 for a reduced video version. Pomfort SilverStack 1.0 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
