  • Messsenger for Mac 6.0.2 (free) is the latest version of Microsoft's instant messaging program. New is the addition of a logging option, which can keep track of technical issues such as connection problems and status failures. Microsoft warns that since log files store personal information, logging is turned off by default. [Download - 8.6MB]

  • No Limits 1.6 ($30) is a rollercoaster simulator, offering rides on both real-world and user-made tracks. Custom scenery can also be created using built-in tools and 3D Studio. The v1.6 patch has been available since September, but has just been integrated as the base version for the paid game. [Download - 19.1MB]

  • SiteTagger 3.2 ($10) is a tag-based bookmarking application, operating outside of web browsers and capable of finding links by keyword. The v3.2 update synchronizes with online services, such as Furl, Ma.gnolia, and Crash bugs relating to bookmark backup have also been fixed. [Download - 1.65MB]

  • Export Address Book 1.4 ($16) claims to be the only program which can export all the contact information in Address Book to external file formats, such as TSV, HTML, and vCard. Changes to v1.4 include AppleScript support, which helps automate exports to formats other than TSV. Users can also specify a variety of Address Book fields as the default for new documents.   • Simple Help Editor 2.0 ($30) is used to create HTML-based help menus, which can be viewed in either a web browser or in Apple's Help Viewer. The second edition introduces a Glossary that stores text fragments, and a Quick Styles feature that applies formatting throughout a document. The program is a Universal Binary for Mac OS X 10.2.   • PageSpinner Wiki Plug-Ins 1.0 (free) is a group of plug-ins for PageSpinner that pre-formats content for wiki sites within the text editor. Wiki markups are present for various site styles, and users can search Wikipedia directly from within the software. PageSpinner itself costs $30 and needs only Mac OS 9.1 or later. [Download - 67KB]

    No Limits 1.6 was only relased for the Mac this week. The version that has been out since Sept was for Windows.
