iPhone theme for RAZR
A new theme has surfaced for the Motorla RAZR cellular handset designed to emulate Apple's iPhone user-interface, according to Macsupport. The theme features iconic designed resembling those representing iPhone features, with items for Bluetooth connectivity and the Safari launch icon. Users can install custom themes on their Motorola RAZR phone to change the look and feel of the interface, and custom 'skins' are available that void Motorola's warranty on the phone. Instructions for installing custom themes are available at various frequently-asked questions pages online, and Motorola owners can install themes -- but not skins -- wirelessly via Bluetooth.

I wish there was a theme for Sprint that I could use with my LG Fusic (LG550). It already looks like an iPod and Sprint allows downloadable themes right from there phones.

To install on Mac?

I would like to know if somebody can hint me about how to install this theme using Mac OS X. Default themes are fugly and this I think justifies the change. Thanks!

Wonder if this theme will work for VZW UI RAZR phones? Or the KRZR for that matter?

need a pc

you really need a PC to install themes on your RAZR. With a Mac and Bluetooth adapter, you can only transfer images to use as wallpaper or MP3s to use as ringtones.
Google motomodders and you will come up with sites that tell you how to add themes to your RAZR. You will need a PC, some software (explained on the site, which can easily be bittorrented) and a USB cable that attaches to the power port.
I like Motorola phones a lot but it really sucks that they leave Mac users out in the cold.

sorry my bad... apparently you can install themes but not skins via bluetooth.
Again if you really want to tweak your RAZR, use a PC and follow the FAQ at the motomodders sites.

What's the point?

It may look like an iPhone interface, but it'll still act like your typically awful Motorola interface.

Finally done.

After some research and getting to sleep at 2:30 am, I achieved it too. Happens that my beloved cellphone company had made some custom branded icons that were almost impossible to get rid of, which tampered icon view. Some wild mma_dcp and mma_ucp editing did the trick. Not bad for someone who makes a living on tax law.

Is terrible. I, for one, will welcome my new Cingular overlords!
