Nano 1.2 released

RefNum Software has released Nano 1.2, a major update to its open-source C++ framework for developing modern high-performance Carbon applications. Nano 1.2 adds an advanced Software Update engine built around RSS that allows users to view release notes, download updates, and upgrade software from within a running application. The latest revision also includes more than 50 improvements and bug fixes related to HTTP support, XML parsing, PCRE-based regular expressions, thread locks, and additional control over WebKit views. The framework provides an HIG-compliant application and document model; C++ wrappers around every HIToolbox view; one-line-undo functionality; built-in support for software updates; and an improved interface builder. Nano allows developers to create full-featured 64-bit "clean" Universal Binaries with minimal effort using the C++ language, according to refNum (system requirements were unavailable).
