PitchBoards 3 released

KeynotePro today released its PitchBoards Series 3 Themes, updating the original storyboarding theme for Apple's Keynote software for complete Keynote 3 optimization. PitchBoards Series 3 Themes build on the traditions of the previous releases by offering extensive framework refinements, a slew of new slide variations, expanded supplemental extras, and new HD themes for true cinematic pitches. PitchBoards 3 includes up to 58 slide masters in Pro and Producer editions for the most popular aspect ratios used in film and video production, as well as reflection-optimized slides that allow for a more free-form look. The new theme also adds new 2/3 column slides in the HD themes to provide a structured, shot-specific alternate to the Scene Slides. PitchBoards 3 is available in three editions which include PitchBoards 3 Classic Edition ($20), PitchBoards 3 Pro edition ($30), and PitchBoards 3 Producer edition ($50).

PitchBoards 3 expands supplemental materials to include additional color options for the zoom overlays -- which are larger for improved fidelity in HD presentations -- alongside aspect ratio overlay masking shapes for use in conjunction with the reflection-optimized slides.

Pitchbords 3 Producer Edition includes additional updates to PitchBoards White - a stripped-down, print-friendly version of PitchBoards Pro designed to make converting a PitchBoards presentation for printing, duplication and distribution to a pre-production crew a one-step process. The PitchBoards White theme includes print-oriented versions of every PitchBoards Pro slide master -- including the specialized 2-up and multi-column (HD) board masters from the Supplemental Layouts -- enabling users to convert presentations for print as a seamless transition. PitchBoards White also provides another bridge for using Keynote as a hub to tie the pieces of the production process together, allowing users to move from script to storyboard to annotated storyboard prints for distribution to pre-production personnel in an integrated order, according to KeynotePro.

The PitchBoards Motion Pack -- which is included in the PitchBoards 3 Producer Edition or as a stand-alone download -- is a collection of 20 alpha-enabled Quicktime motion-arrow files that are each available in Red, Green or Blue, designed for integration directly into Keynote's Media Browser. Available in a range of both 2D and 3D styles, the 20 stock clips are pre-rendered with fades and a light drop shadow, enabling users to flip, rotate or scale as needed to suggest motion paths for still objects or photos on storyboards.

PitchBoards 3 EP Edition -- which is included in the new PitchBoards 3 Producer Edition or as a stand-alone theme download -- takes the core elements of a pitch to Apple's video iPod in a format optimized for small-screen viewing. The EP Edition Themes -- short for Elevator Pitch -- update themes for export and enhanced readability on the iPod's screen, with each slide also Title-Safe optimized to ensure that presenters using the iPod AV Cable to connect their iPod to a television or projector do not lose important details. PitchBoards 3 EP Edition includes 24 complete Master Slides, from standard presentation-style slides to Storyboard slides in TV, HD and Widescreen Film aspect ratios -- including 2-up boards in the 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
