Artlandia SymmetryWorks 4

Artlandia released SymmetryWorks 4, a major new version of the popular plug-in for Adobe Illustrator. SymmetryWorks 4 builds around new capabilities for working with replicas (live copies) that automate the creation of new classes of pattern designs. It is for professional pattern design in many industries, including surface, textile, carpet, apparel, fashion, book, greeting card, web, print, etc. Version 4 allows designers to make live copies of selected objects to produce patterns that look more symmetric or less symmetric as well as provides the ability to spawn multiple replica copies (multi-replicas) and automatically arrange them in spirals, mosaics, pinwheels, gradations, and other object arrangements within a pattern. It also provides support for applying live effects to replica art and optionally accumulating effects to emphasize (or de-emphasize) objects and effects. SymmetryWorks 4 is available for Adobe Illustrator starting from v8.0/CS2. The electronic version is $230 and upgrades are $75.
