MacGourmet 2 ships

Advenio last week released MacGourmet 2, a major update to its popular recipe, wine and cooking note organizer. The new release features a new, improved user interface with new ways to search and organize information and a new, faster database. It also adds new display, print and .Mac publishing themes, improves .Mac publishing performance, and offers lots of new meta data like category, cuisine, course, summary and yield. It also adds more flexible recipe scaling and metric conversion. MacGourmet 2, a free upgrade for registered users, is $25. Voluntary upgrades with extra content, themes and an exclusive t-shirt are also available for $10 and $15. Users who purchase MacGourmet or an upgrade bundle before January 31st will be entered into a drawing for one of 2 iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED Special Editions. MacGourmet 2 is a Universal Binary and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
