Apple offers 2007 teaser

Apple has unveiled a new teaser on its homepage depicting a black Apple logo partially engulfed in a shining white light from behind. The phrase "The first 30 years were just the beginning. Welcome to 2007." stretches across the top, exciting enthusiasts with thoughts of new products in the works for the new year. The company has already revealed that it will ship Mac OS X 10.5 'Leopard' during the spring of 2007, and announced that its 'iTV' device is in the works to stream digital content wirelessly from consumers' computers to their living rooms. Widespread speculation about at least one new cellular handset from Apple has bumped Apple's share price further as investors speculate about the potential revenue the Cupertino-based company could generate, should it enter the highly-competitive mobile phone market.

Apple has shown much progress during the holiday season as well, with one study finding a 413 percent increase in iTunes Music Store hits this year on Christmas day over last year during the same period. The same study also found that Apple's online store received 110 percent more traffic this year on December 25th than last year, even after the company saw "staggering" demand for its flash-based iPod nano player in mid-January of 2006.

    link?

Interesting that MacNN's link takes you to the Applestore and not to the Apple.com homepage where the described image actually resides. I wonder do they only get paid for click-throughs to the Applestore and not just to the homepage?

    Please!

A new flashlight? Ha! Nothing close. They're going to announce they've patented the sun rising in the East, and will soon be suing everyone who dares makes use of it. They should roll in the dough.

    Hmmm... Eclipse!

    As in "the Darkside."

That's it! Apple is releasing its most anticipated accessory to the iPod.

-- An Apple ASIMO or i-ASIMO. Its black and it can Dance- similar to the silhoutte ads . And it runs via OS X. Sort of like a short Darth Vader. Just "Different".

Hmmm. It is the the beginning of the end...
