Pistons iPod shuffle clone
The Detroit Pistons have begun offering the Pistons MP3 Player as part of a charity drive, which bears an uncanny resemblance to Apple's first-generation iPod shuffle. The screenless player features similar controls but substantially different internal mechanics, according to Electronista, playing only MP3 and WMA songs without support for Apple's FairPlay DRM-protected tracks purchased from the iTunes Music Store. Internal storage is limited to 128MB of flash memory, but the basketball team promises both a low price and a charitable contribution for players sold. Each player costs $25 and makes a donation to the Detroit Medical Center's breast cancer prevention program, while purchasing five of the players obtains another sixth player for free.

That's the sound of Apple's lawyers sharpening their pencils.

I know, that's very brash of them. They think that they can do this because it's charity, but Apple has to defend its property...it's basic trademark and copyright law. If they ever slack/let things go, it's the same as giving it up.
What sucks is that some news station/paper somewhere will vilify Apple for defending its IP
