In brief: ....One user has posted screenshots of a trouble-free Windows Vista Final installation on an Intel-based Mac with Boot Camp.... Sonicswap has released earFeeder beta, its software that allows users to receive news personalized to favorite artists in iTunes with notifications about upcoming album releases and concert ticket availability.... Belkin's TuneDeck for iPod nano has been named one of the Best Car Accessories in PlaylistMag.com's second annual "Plays of the Year" Awards.... NewTek has released LightWave 3D Trial Edition for 64-bit Mac and 32-bit Windows systems, offering full functionality for 30-days.... The Google Mac Blog is featuring a post about the recent Google summer of Code and Macs, offering some insight into a computer science student's experience working on the Camino Web browser.... Apple's Fukubukuro (which translates to "Lucky Bag") 2007 has returned to the Japanese Apple Store until December 26th for 52.5 Yen.

    Talk about a poorly edited and inaccurate story, at least regarding Apple's fukubukuro. I checked out the source page, and even though I don't know Italian, I can read enough to tell that the event *starts* on December 26th, runs till January 2nd, and costs 52,500 yen (here's a clue: some languages use periods in long numbers instead of commas).

    Mind you, that "January 2nd" bit is irrelevant, because they'll sell out in the first five minutes like they did last year.

    And upon reading the page at Apple Japan, which the Italian article links to, I can further clarify that the fukubukuro is only available on the 2nd of January.

    I'm going early this year. :)

    And now that I finished reading the Japanese page, I see that they're taking pre-orders this month. How it works is that 10 orders are accepted each day until the 26th.
