Pro Import Cmb 1.05
Automatic Duck today released Pro Import Cmb 1.05, an application for the Combustion compositing suite by Autodesk. Pro Import converts Avid (OMF), Final Cut (XML) and Premiere Pro (AAF) files to the Combustion format, retaining most of the visual effects applied in native applications. The latest release adds a slew of updates, including Universal Binary status, and increases the speed of the software on PowerPC systems. Pro Import Cmb also provides compatibility with Avid DNxHD media and Combustion 4.04 for the Mac. The update is available for free to existing Pro Import users. Automatic Duck also released a P2 import crash fix for Pro FCP products, and is offering a new version of its Free XML Exporter for Final Cut Pro. The plug-in is designed to simplify the exporting process, removing the intermediate settings dialog and inserting the current filename into the save field.
