HyperRESEARCH 2.7 ships


ResearchWare today released HyperRESEARCH 2.7, a multi-platform software package for qualitative analysis research. The new version offers enhanced display of coded segments of text, automatic backups of data files, significant performance improvements, an enhanced GUI, support for latest QuickTime formats, and a completely revised integrated concept mapping tool. HyperRESEARCH is used by researchers in social science research, psychology, usability, and corporate marketing to identify and analyze patterns and trends among qualitative data from a variety of media file types, including text, images, audio and video. Version 2.7 supports Code Stripes, a graphical enhancement making it easy to identify coded segments of text at a glance; includes a completely revised Code Map, an integrated tool for creating simple concept maps, now supports multiple code maps which can include memos and imported images, and more. It is available for $370 and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later. (It is comptible with Apple's Rosetta technology; however, a Universal Binary version is in development and expected to ship in the coming weeks as a free update.)
