IMSI/Design has released TurboCAD Mac v2 as a Universal application for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, which enables it to run natively on both PowerPC- and Intel-based Macs. Created for the home designer, TurboCAD Mac Version 2 builds on the comprehensive 2D drafting, intuitive user interface, and outstanding drawing performance introduced in Version 1 a year ago. TurboCAD MAC Version 2 contains over two dozen powerful new features and enhancements, including a new double line tool, improved AutoCAD DXF and DFG file support, updated fractional unit and dimensional display, improved drawing snaps, and a new ability to define Multiple User preferences and settings. TurboCAD Mac offers over 275 intuitive 2D design tools, more than 7000 symbols, extensive file compatibility, and intuitive command tools. It is available for $100 (or as a downloadable demo).
