In brief: Bloomberg today published a new "average analyst rating" chart ranking Apple no. 1 under the "Technology Hardware and Equipment" category, but listed Apple as dropping from no. 8 to no. 16 on another chart ranking the top 52 S&P stocks in general.... Apple this week is deploying numerous enhancements for its retail stores to more efficiently handle customer interest in its Mac systems, including a new alert system called "Rhonda".... MacNN has reviewed the Executive Leather Case ($35, shown at right) for Apple's Video iPod, featuring fine stitching and a band of elastic material to accommodate the different video iPod models.... Google has released the first Mac version of its Google Web Toolkit (GWT) as a digital download, allowing Mac developers to write AJAX code in Java while leveraging concepts as well as patterns familiar to user-interface developers.... BenQ today launched four new computer displays with two widescreen models and two standard LCD panels.... One website has posted a screenshot of a Windows Vista install occurring on an Intel Mac inside a VMware Fusion virtual machine.
