DiscLabel 4.0 ships

SmileOnMyMac has released DiscLabel 4.0, the latest version of its CD/DVD label design software for the Mac. Version 4 features new design tools, such as multiple layer support and gradients, as well as interface improvements that simplify the creation of new designs; it adds the ability to add multiple layers, which can be hidden or reordered. Users can copy and paste all layers into a new design to create additional packaging elements like jewel cases. New tools for creating freehand scribbles and polygons have been added, as well as support for multicolor gradient fills for text and objects. It also features smooth color gradients for objects and text and s simplified and improved text editing user interface. It runs on Mac OS X 10.4 or later and costs $33 ($50 for a family pack). Upgrades are $15 from an earlier version (free to purchases after August 1st).
