Chrome messenger bags ship
Domestic bag manufacturer Chrome, located in the SOMA district of San Francisco, has unveiled a new messenger-style laptop bag in two sizes designed to safely tote laptops such as Apple's 13.3-inch MacBook or 15-inch MacBook Pro. Each bag is constructed with carbon fiber and Kevlar reinforced composite materials as well as ballistics nylon to keep the laptop inside safe and dry. Composite material is used both as a design element and because it boasts a high strength to weight ratio for an innovative visual presence, according to Chrome. Each bag features custom laser cut stainless steel hardware, internal divider pockets, pen slots, a padded laptop compartment, front cargo pockets, a carry handle, and a removable shoulder strap. The Duma ($120) and Shuttle ($110) each measure 16 x 12.5 with depths of 5 and 2.5-inches, respectively. Both sizes of Chrome's new messenger laptop bag are made in the U.S. and come with a lifetime guarantee.
