YouTube client debuts
Twisted Ninja Software today debuted Tubular, its YouTube client for Mac OS X designed to offer easy access to videos on YouTube. The software allows users to browse, search, and watch videos without the need to open a Web browser, and supports conversions of any video into a format that will play on Apple's fifth-generation video iPod. The software also supports copying as well as sending a YouTube URL for any video to friends. Tubular is available for pre-order for $13 until the software is released, which Twisted Ninja says is some time before the end of 2006. Pricing for Tubular will rise after the official release, according to the company (system requirements were unavailable).

yeah right
so they want me to pay 13 bucks for something I cannot try and for all effective purposes does not exist. good luck with that business model... it does sound like a good idea, though I'm sure google will object sometime soon.
