Championship Manager 2006

Virtual Programming on Friday made the Mac edition of Championship Manager 2006 available for purchase as a direct download. The game allows players to manage every aspect of an international football club, ranging from tactics and training to player transfers. New features in the 2006 version include a Gameplan 3D mode offering players the option of watching matches with broadcast-style visuals while still providing control over squad tactics, as well as a more complex transfer system and the ability to coach individual players to inspire their performance. The new Championship Manager requires an Intel- or PowerPC-based Mac with 256MB of memory, a GeForce 2 MX or Radeon 8500 video card, 400MB of hard disk space, and Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later. The game is available for download from Virtual Programming for $40 and will ship to retail stores in the next 7-10 days.
