RouteBuddy adds maps, geocaching files

RouteBuddy updates


RouteBuddy has released of RouteBuddy Maps for United Arab Emirates and Malaysia, expanding the map range for the innovative new GPS mapping program for Mac OS X. RouteBuddy now offers a wider range of road maps than any other Mac-based mapping application, according to the compay. The company also announced that version 1.1.1 of RouteBuddy can now import single or multiple .LOC GeoCaching files from www.geocaching.com's website for instant placement on a RouteBuddy Map via simple Drag & Drop. In addition to .LOC import RouteBuddy users can also drag and drop single or multiple .GPX files onto RouteBuddy Maps to take advantage of the advanced features in the .gpx file format. RouteBuddy provides native Mac OS X support for Garmin GPS devices, and allows users to manage and display their GPS data together with a set of high-precision vector-based road maps. RouteBuddy Maps for UAE ($50) and Malaysia ($40) are available immediately. RouteBuddy costs $100, and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
