Elecom P100 Speaker Dock

Elecom today announced the new ASP-P100 ultra-portable iPod speaker dock. The design is only slightly taller than a standard Universal Dock, but accommodates a 2-watt speaker system that can play music directly from an iPod while the system is either plugged into an AC power outlet or running independently using four AAA batteries. The dock is capable of charging the player when plugged into an AC or USB power source, and synchronizes with a Mac or Windows PC when attached through the included USB cable. The P100 ($60) will soon ship in Japan in black or white trim, offering support for all dockable iPods.
