- xBack 3.6.5 ($10) is a utility allowing users to replace the desktop picture with a screensaver, effectively bringing the desktop to life. xBack can quickly start/stop the desktop screensaver, allows users to easily change the running screensaver, offers previews of screensavers without opening System Preferences, and offers menu-based usage with no wasted space in the dock.
