Dell 20" widescreen ships

Dell today unveiled a low-cost 20-inch widescreen LCD for budget-oriented consumers. Dell's E207WFP is a stripped-down version of the existing 2007WFP that sacrifices the USB hub and all but a single DVI input (with HDCP encryption support) for a lower absolute price. The company is already shipping the E207 for $290 versus the $400 official price of the higher-end model, according to Electronista. The company also showcased its 3207C and 3707C 32- and 37-inch LCD televisions with improved image quality designed to help with fast-action scenes in movies as well as games. The company is shipping both models for $1,200 (32-inch) and $1,700 (37-inch) respectively.
