Altec Lansing is preparing to launch a speaker dock for Zune -- Microsoft's new portable media player -- which is largely a reworking of the company's existing iPod dock, according to Electronista.... Novatel has begun shipping its new Merlin XU870 ExpressCard/34 adapter to carriers, supporting both the 3.6Mbps maximum speed of HSDPA and earlier, less common connections such as UMTS.
