Nintendo: Sun concerns

Responding to concerns that the Wii's sensor bar can be disrupted by sunlight, Nintendo has told 1UP that "Our testing thus far shows no great risk of light interference when playing a game that relies on the pointer and sensor bar." Of course, this directly contradicts the anecdotal evidence from Nintendo World. Another disappointment may be waiting for those few Japanese gamers holding on to their GameCubes - IGN says that the GC version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will only be sold there through Nintendo's Website. The Wii title will still be out in stores. To clarify, the situation is unchanged in North America, with the Wii game coming November 19th and the GC version December 11th.
