B. Vista licenses Oblivion
Buena Vista Games has announced the licensing of both the engine and toolkit used to make The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, GamesIndustry says. Developed by Emergent, the Gamebryo technology will be put to use in a number of BVG titles, scattered across different genres and produced for both the PS3 and Xbox 360. BVG is owned by Disney and has published games such as Cars, Tron 2.0, and Kingdom Hearts II. Upcoming Buena Vista games include Lumines II, Every Extend Extra, and Meteos: Disney Edition.
