Codemasters' Heatseeker

Codemasters has announced Heatseeker, an aerial combat game from IR Gurus (Heroes of the Pacific). SPOnG reports that the title will ship in early 2007 for the PS2, PSP, and most importantly, the Wii. Gameplay is being compared to the fast pace of Sega's After Burner, but unique content will include ground targets and a selection of real-world aircraft, from the F-15 to the Su-47. A curious choice is the F-117 - in the real world, the plane is neither a fighter nor equiped with any anti-air weapons. If the Gurus aren't messing with facts, it could be that the game will actually have a stealth mechanic. Codemasters has yet to say if the Wii title will use motion-sensing controls like the PS3's WarHawk.
