Progress of PS3 games; Madden, Carbon at Wii launch

updated 10:30 am EDT, Thu September 28, 2006

Progress report: PS3 games

With so many PS3 titles seemingly in a media blackout, you might be wondering if any of them are near completion. Japanese magazine Famitsu has responded with a list compiled from unknown sources; presumably, they asked developers to peg a game's progress in the form of a percentage. The complete list follows after the jump. Notably absent from it is Ridge Racer 7, but IGN says that pamphlets from the Tokyo Game Show indicate the game is finished. PS3 launch titles for Japan should include RR7, Resistance, Sega Golf Club, Genji and Gundam: Target in Sight. In other release news, EA says that Madden NFL 07 and Need for Speed Carbon will both be Wii launch titles. Madden will have Wii-specific features, such as multiplayer minigames and a new play-calling system.
