XBL; Dolby for Wii, PS3

Even though TGS is over, Microsoft continues to post new Xbox Live content in advance of X06, scheduled for September 27th. The big news for today is a demo of the 360 port of FEAR, Monolith's horror-themed FPS game. Here's the full list of XBL downloads:

FEAR 360 demo
Battlestations Midway trailer
Eragon trailer
Import Tuner Challenge trailer
Need for Speed Carbon trailer
The Darkness trailer
Mass Effect picture pack
Battlestar Galactica picture pack
TGS Showfloor video #3
Elsewhere on the Web, Dolby Labs has announced that the Wii will support Pro Logic II sound, while the PS3 will use Digital 5.1 for games and Digital 7.1 (with TrueHD) for Blu-ray movies. Wealthy audiophiles take note! Of course, anyone who can afford a 5.1 surround setup can probably afford his choice of consoles.
