No online in V. Tennis 3?
Sony giveth and Sony taketh away. GamersReports cites Pelaaja, a Finnish Website, as saying that the PS3 version of the game will have no online play when it ships in 2007. Pelaaja quotes Sega producer Mie Kumagai, who explains that Sony has yet to provide the network information needed for coding. The PC and 360 games should remain unaffected. A note: while this story is unconfirmed, it does bear resemblance to solid news about Tony Hawk's Project 8. Will other PS3 games soon be feature-stripped? At this rate, the 360 may be the only reasonable console choice for multiplayer. No third-party Wii games will have online play until 2007. UPDATE: GamesIndustry has confirmed the story with Sega Europe.
