New Take-Two lawsuit

Videogame violence crusader Jack Thompson is set to announce another lawsuit today, this time against Sony and Take-Two. Posting to comments in an article by Game Politics, Thompson says we should expect "what will likely prove to be hugely significant wrongful death action" against the two companies. Presumably the lawsuit will involve the Grand Theft Auto series, since Manhunt has been largely ignored and Bully has yet to ship. Thompson also attempts to attack the gaming industry while drawing sympathy. "One thing Thompson will talk about at the news conference," he writes, "are the ways in which the industry has targeted him and his family for harm in retaliation for his appearance on 60 Minutes..." Specifically, he accuses Take-Two of using the lawfirm Blank Rome to lobby against his efforts on Capitol Hill. He further describes the recent shootings at Dawson College as an "entertainment copycat killing."
