Nintendo: One million Wiis for North American launch

Nintendo of Canada VP and general manager Ron Bertram has told Mackenzie Financial that there should be one million Wiis across the continent on November 19th. Next-Gen quotes Bertram as saying, "We're looking at a million for North America at launch. If we get what we're supposed to get, this will be our most plentiful launch in the 15 years I've been at Nintendo. All signs are actually extremely positive." Conversely, Sony expects only 400,000 PS3's by November 17th. This is similar to the amount of 360s Microsoft had ready in 2005.
