BioWare's DS game
In other BioWare news, the company has just founded a development team devoted to handheld gaming. The group will be led by Dan Tudge, former president of Exile Interactive, an outfit best known for World Series Baseball 2K3 on the Xbox and PS2. The team's first project will be an unidentified Nintendo DS game; we do have some clues, however. BioWare president Greg Zeschuk says that “As always, we [BioWare] are committed to creating the best story-driven games in the world, and the Nintendo DS offers us an exciting new platform to engage." A story focus suggests another RPG, which isn't surprising. More significant is a survey the company is said to have sent out, in which community members were asked if they would play a handheld game set in an existing BioWare franchise. With any luck, we may be playing a new Knights of the Old Republic game on the DS in the near future.
