Impostrip goes Universal

Ultimate Technographics today announced the upcoming release of Impostrip 8.3, its imposition software rewritten to run natively on Intel-based Macs as a Universal Binary. Tests show that the Universal application is 2 to 3 times faster, according to the company, and the updated version is scheduled for release next month at Graph Expo in Chicago. Impostrip includes both a client and a server application, supporting unlimited clients which are designed to minimize network activity. The software allows inexperienced employees to output imposed jobs for proofing or final output without using the client application, and incorporates a basic template for "hot folder automation." Impostrip 8.3 is a free upgrade for Impostrip 8.x users on the Ultimate Support Plan (system requirements were unavailable).
